SMT Production

With a production capability of 110,000 components per hour, the SMT department has three production lines composed of:

• Seven automated machines that can place the smallest components, format 0402, to the largest, 50x50 mm, PLCCs, BGAs, etc.
• Three completely configurable, refusion ovens that can achieve any temperature and soldering profile for solder paste with or without lead and adhesives.
• Three automated serigraph machines with a centre camera that monitors images to detect any potential error before carrying out the serigraph operation.
• Three optic testing AOI machines to ensure the highest quality of the assembled boards.

Electrónica Falcón believes that the incorporation of quality control systems through out the manufacturing process is essential. Therefore, not only has Electrónica Falcón incorporated an optic checking system into each one of the production lines but it has also installed a machine with Flying Probe technology. This carries out In-Circuit tests with mobile probes, test and change system of BGAs by micro camera.
